What age can our puppy come home?

Puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks of age. They will go home healthy, all shots current, health gaurantee, AKC registration papers, and a receipt of purchase.

When is my dog old enough for training?

The earlier the better. I feel it is important to get pups on birds as early as 10 weeks old. As little as two weeks to one month on live birds is a good start to giving your dog an idea of what he was bred to do. If obedience training is what you are looking for, I don't like to start any earlier than 6 months for most dogs.

Do I need to bring my own food while my dog is in training?

You may bring your own food or we can feed our food. We feed Purina Pro Plan and will mix in a supplement to help the transition of changing foods the first few days if we use our food.

Does my dog need any shots?

We require that your dog is current on his vaccinations before he arrives to the kennel. A certificate will be required at the time of drop off. Also if you want us to give heartworm prevention, we require a negative heartworm test and an adequate supply of heartguard or other brand of prevention or your choice. If your dog requires any other medication please bring instructions for administration and adequate supply of medicine.

Should I bring a pillow or toy for my dog?

No. If you bring pillows or stuffed animals chances are very good they will be ruined. We take no responsibilty for damaged property other than your dog. It is permittable to bring rawhides, bones, or any other edible chew toys or treats.
